Printed Prescriptions

Prescriptions for some medications cannot be faxed to your pharmacy. If you are prescribed such a medication, you will be given a written medication on blue safety paper that will need to be given to the pharmacy every refill. As such, your medication bottle will say you have no refills, and you will need to bring the pharmacy another printed prescription every 30 days. In some cases your provider might give you multiple printed copies for you to give the pharmacy. That way they will have your prescription on file and you can simply call and request a new fill. All printed prescriptions expire, so be sure to fill it before the expiration date. If you forget how many refills you have left, ask the pharmacist how many refills they have on file. We cannot replace any prescriptions that are lost or stolen, and you will need to schedule an appointment to get another one.

If your prescription is on standard white paper, once the prescription is on file at the pharmacy, you may request any prescribed refills in the usual manner.
